What is Youth Guarantee?
Youth Guarantee is about providing new opportunities for 16 and 17 year olds to achieve education success, and to progress into further education, training or employment. Young people need clarity, flexibility and choice in how they get to where they want to go. The goal of Youth Guarantee is that all young people will achieve level 2 NCEA, which is seen as the minimum qualification for success in today’s world.
