Weaving together two strands of his future as an industrial electrician and business owner has brought Kiran Gobind the satisfaction of achieving goals and applying his knowledge in the workplace.

Kiran achieved the Award of Distinction, passing the National Diploma in Computing programme with flying colours.

Now he is completing the last year of his electrical apprenticeship and has recently completed Best's one-year Diploma of Business programme to keep his plans steaming ahead.

Not only did he acquire technical skills and knowledge, the programme enhanced his customer service skills and was flexible enough to allow him time to visit his former homeland, South Africa, during the academic year.
