Receptionist
With a great job at a television company, Faleseu Sosene feels confident about the future for her, her husband and their little girl. But, until she completed her Certificate of Tourism and Travel at Best Pacific Institute of Education, Faleseu had found it difficult to find work.
“I was really desperate to work and help provide for the baby,” she says.
Her mum recommended BEST and Faleseu fitted quickly into the programme. She made lots of friends at BEST, and loved the campus environment.
“Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They took me to work experience, and it doesn’t stop there – they keep looking for jobs for you.”
After she qualified, she got a job as Receptionist for a housing agency, then with a theatre booking agency. Next, she applied for her current job – a role she really wanted.
“I remembered the interview techniques from the BEST course, and used them get it,” she says.
Faleseu loves her new life and job, and she knows who to thank: “Without BEST, I wouldn’t be working!”
