Efaraimo Sanerivi
Certificate in Tourism and Travel
Retail Banking Help Desk Advisor
Efaraimo Sanerivi has a challenging role in the Retail Credit Centre of a major bank, and believes studying at Best Pacific Institute of Education was a vital stepping stone to his successful career.
“Use BEST’s learning wisely and you get results,” says Efaraimo, who is known to many of his friends as Raymond.
He speaks extremely highly of his tutors who supported and encouraged him to realise his full potential, and has been passing on the BEST message to inspire others to study.
“BEST opened my mind and I saw that I could do any work,” he says.
Previously, he had worked as a teacher, and in the police force, in Samoa. He spent 10 years as a security supervisor in Wellington until 2001. While accompanying his brother who was enrolling at BEST, he decided to enrol himself in the Certificate of Tourism and Travel programme.
After completing the programme, Efaraimo was offered his first job at the bank as a Teller, he then moved to the Marketing department. Today, he has an even more challenging role there as a Retail Banking Help Desk Advisor, with the Retail Credit Centre Team.
