“Do You Have Broadband at Home” Competition Terms and Conditions

1. All entrants must provide both their email address and mobile number to qualify for entry into the competition. 
2. Only one entry will be accepted per mobile number and email address.
3. If you are under the age of 15, you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before entering the competition.
4. Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited will not provide your personal details to any third parties.
5. By entering the Do You Have Broadband At Home and WIN competition you are authorizing Best Pacific Institute of Education to use your personal details for future communications.
6. The winners will be drawn at random from all the correct entries.
7. The competition is open to current Active status students at BEST only. Overseas entries will not be considered.
8. Employees of Best Pacific Institute of Education and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.
9. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives.
10. Entries close 11.59pm, Monday 31st October 2011. The winners will be drawn at 4pm on Tuesday 1st November 2011.
11. All draws are final. No correspondence will be entered into. All winners will be notified by phone or email. Winners will be asked to verify their physical address for prize communications.
12. Prizes unclaimed after 14 days will be deemed to have been forfeited and Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited reserves the right to either offer the prize to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random or to re-offer the prize in any future competition. In the case of time-sensitive prizes, the prize must be claimed within the deadline stipulated by Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited.
13. Only the person who originally entered the competition can be awarded the prize.
14. Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries.
15. Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes.
16. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
17. Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited decision is final in every situation and no further correspondence will be entered into.
18. Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
19. These rules are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
20. Where the winner is required to claim the prize in person, they must provide legal identification (eg driver’s licence, passport, birth certificate).
21. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
22. Best Pacific Institute of Education Limited may substitute selected prizes for those of similar or greater value at their discretion.
23. The Promoter is not liable for any personal loss (including but not limited to indirect, economic or consequential loss), costs, damage or injury suffered or sustained by any promotion participant or prize winner during the course of participating or attempting to participate in this promotion or accepting or using any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. All activities are undertaken at the sole risk of each prize winner and their companions who are all liable for any damages to equipment or property, personal loss (including but not limited to indirect, economic or consequential loss), costs, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained over the duration of the prizes.
24.  In the event that a JB HI-FI prize draw winner is under 15 years of age, the winner must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 18 years or over.
25. By entering, winners agree to the use of their name, locality and photograph for publicity purposes without further compensation from the Promoter.
26.There are 3JB HI-FI gift cards to be one worth $100 each for the Do You Have Broadband At Home competition.
27. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without any intention to limit a consumer’s rights under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Promoter makes no warranties or representation, either express or implied, regarding the prizes, other than those stated in these Terms and Conditions and expressly excludes all liability and warranties, including (without limitation) in respect of type, quality, standard, fitness or suitability for purpose of all prize elements provided by the Promoter.
