Programme Outline
The Certificate in Christian Studies provides opportunities for personal growth as a Christian and prepares students for further study and for volunteer or paid roles in a church or community setting.
- God’s calling to various ministries, Christian friendship and the history of Christianity in the Pacific region.
- Study of the major religions in the world, missions and Pacific worldview of Christianity.
- Introduction to study of the old and new testaments and introduction to theology and interpreting the Bible.
- Christian ethics and plan and lead a Christian worship service.
The Practicum*
The Practicum aims to advance students understanding and experience of Christian citizenship and leadership through hand-on experience.
Students undertake two voluntary Christian service projects in Church and community settings.
*For students who have completed part one of the certificate.
