Pacific Churches

BEST acknowledges the role our Churches play in the lives of our Pacific students and communities; therefore we have established valuable partnerships that help promote education.

BEST works with Churches and youth groups from around Auckland.  We visit their Sunday services and youth meetings to share information about the value of education and the opportunities our programmes can provide both young and mature.  Because we understand Pacific culture and family, we are able to connect and share with parents and the congregation.

Community Leaders Certificate - Supporting Those Who Serve

The Community Leaders Certificate is designed to assist Church leaders to serve their people by providing training in computing and organisational management.  It has been developed in consultation with our Pacific Church communities.

Stage One of the programme focuses on computing skills.  On completion of the programme participants will be awarded the National Certificate in Computing (level 2).

Stage Two of the programme focuses on computing, financial and business administration skills.  On completion of the programme participants will be awarded the National Certificate in Business Administration (Level 3).

The certificate is taught via BEST's Fresh-e, e-learning platform with a computer and internet connection provided, free of charge, for the duration of the programme.  This gives participants the flexibility to study at their own pace. (Conditions Apply)

The Community Leaders Certificate is BEST's "gift" to our Pacific Church communities
