At BEST, we deliver Training Opportunities Programmes (TOPs) to help you re-train for a new career, return to the workforce or continue with further education. We provide an interesting range of programmes to meet your learning and employment needs.
TOPs programmes give you a Fresh Start
Our programmes are FREE* and available to unemployed people over 18, with low qualifications. As a TOPs student you will continue to receive your benefit from Work and Income and may also be eligible for a "travel allowance"*.

Our dedicated tutors will help you to design a pathway for your career and will assist you through your studies. They will be available on a one-to-one basis if you are having any issues affecting your study or student life. Our team will also be available to give you guidance and employment solutions throughout your time at BEST.
